Each team has a unique culture and an effective leader taps into the resources and strengths of the team. Effective leaders are those who continuously strive for improvement. Workshops for leadership and supervision include leadership theory and models, leadership development, effective supervision and supervision styles, supervising  new young professionals,  and communication, tools and strategies for performance improvement. 

Understanding theoretical practices of learning, facilitating for various learning styles, creating lesson plans and curriculum development can be challenging. Workshops are offered for beginner youth development professionals who would like to learn how to structure a lesson plans as well as  more advanced professionals who would like to learn about engagement and program improvement.

Creatively engaging teens is an everchanging and often difficult task to tackle. We will work together to create meaningful teen programming options to develop lesson plans, curriculum and activities that employ youth development principles. Additionally I can help staff take their enthusiasm and ideas to create lasting programs that deliver measurable impact or help to incorporate youth voice and choice into the programming structure.
